We are working in partnership with inclusive and supportive specialist schools across Swadlincote, Derbyshire, that are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team. These schools are committed to providing nurturing learning environments where pupils with additional needs can achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language needs, and SEMH
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, parents, and external professionals to support pupil progress
  • Monitor and assess pupil development, adapting teaching strategies where required
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community and promote inclusive education

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs or a genuine passion for SEN education
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Is patient, compassionate, and committed to helping every pupil succeed
  • Works effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team
