7.5T Delivery Driver

The Best Connection Newport is currently recruiting for experienced 7.5 Tonne Drivers on behalf of our reputable client based in Tredegar. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and motivated drivers to join a well-established logistics team, delivering goods across the South East of England.

About the Role

You will be responsible for carrying out between 3-4 deliveries per day using a 7.5t vehicle, with a Drivers Mate delivering various goods to commercial and residential locations. All routes are pre-planned, and the transport team offers great support throughout the day.

This is a Monday to Friday role with 7:30 AM starts, giving you a consistent work routine and your evenings free.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle to make multi-drop deliveries across the South East
• Safely securing loads using ratchet straps
• Performing routine vehicle checks and reporting any issues
• Delivering excellent customer service at each drop
• Adhering to road safety rules and company policies

What We’re Looking For

• A valid Category C1 (7.5t) licence
• Up-to-date CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
• Previous multi-drop experience is desirable but not essential
• Ability to strap and secure loads safely
• Punctual, professional, and self-motivated
