Night Replenishment, Supermarket Assistant

As a Supermarket Assistant, you will help make a difference to our customers on every visit by delivering partner‑led service and a passion for food that sets us apart from competitors.

Your role entails a range of shop‑keeping tasks that keep the store running efficiently and productively, providing a safe and tidy environment for customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment – ensure shelves remain full and products are in the right place at the right time.
• Fulfil online customer orders for delivery.
• Reduce waste by following product due diligence and markdown regulations for items nearing sell‑by dates.
• Support other shop team members, including checkout assistance, Click & Collect orders, and on‑demand deliveries.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment through general shop‑keeping tasks.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong communication skills to work effectively with team and customers.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience in a customer‑facing role.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge and strong interest in food and drink trends.
• Flexible approach to support the entire branch as needed.

Job Details

• Pay: £13.00 per hour (£13.25 after 90 days)
• Contract type: Temporary
• Hours: Varied part‑time work up to 22 hours per week across seven days, including weekends (03:00-10:00).
• Night premium: £3.75 per hour for hours between 22:00‑06:00.
• Closing date: 29 June 2026
