Teaching Assistant G5 – Emmanuel Middle School

Overview

Emmanuel CE Middle School is looking for two Teaching Assistant G5 to join our team. This position is part time, term-time only, and temporary until 31/08/2027.

Details

• Actual Salary: £14,488–£14,718 per annum (Grade 5 pay award pending)
• Part time: 25 hours per week, 38 weeks per year
• Start date (approximate): 01-Sep-2026
• Contract: Temporary until 31/08/2027

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in promoting high standards of achievement and behaviour
• Support pupils with educational needs and liaise with the SENDCo and other agencies as required
• Be willing to support the Christian ethos of the school
• Potentially provide some lunchtime supervision duties

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience of working with pupils with educational needs
• Enthusiastic, well-motivated, and able to work as part of a team
• Skills and experience to assist teachers in maintaining high standards of achievement and behaviour
