Teaching Assistant

Full Time

H4 – £22,329 – £23,416 Depending on Experience

Term Time plus one week (5 inset days)

Required September 2026

We are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our SEND team. The successful candidate will be patient, reliable and sensitive to the needs of our students, and will show an enthusiasm and commitment to supporting learning across the curriculum.

Responsibilities

Support students in class and through interventions, individually and in small groups, to remove barriers to learning for pupils with additional needs.

Assist Teachers in planning, teaching and assessing pupils in the SEND setting.

Monitor progress and develop intervention strategies in collaboration with specialist staff.

Qualifications & Experience

Patient, reliable, and sensitive to the needs of pupils with SEND.

Commitment to supporting learning across the curriculum.

Relevant experience supporting learners with additional needs is desirable but not mandatory.
