Complex Needs Teaching Assistant

Birmingham£92.56 – £105 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

The specialist ASC School is a well-regarded specialist setting supporting pupils with a wide range of complex needs, including autism and communication difficulties. Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, the school offers a nurturing, well-resourced environment with small class sizes and a strong therapeutic approach. The role involves supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, promoting engagement, independence and emotional wellbeing.

Requirements

The desired Complex Needs Teaching Assistant will have;

  • Experience of working with children or young people with complex needs/SEND
  • A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
  • A passion for supporting individual progress and wellbeing
  • An ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
