Position

Course Tutor in Psychology – fixed‑term, full time, 2 years starting 8 September 2026.

Salary

£53,949 to £62,160 pa inclusive, with potential to progress to £69,073 pa (inclusive of London allowance).

Responsibilities

  • Teach core courses of the BSc in Psychological and Behavioural Science, including lectures, classes and participation in the wider teaching team.
  • Act as an academic mentor and supervise individual dissertation projects.
  • Participate in the undergraduate programme team.

Qualifications

  • Experience teaching core areas of psychology at undergraduate level, such as biological psychology, methods and statistics or related fields.
  • Evidence of high teaching performance and the ability to engage interdisciplinary students.
  • Commitment to high‑quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment, including pastoral care.
  • Experience with programme/course management and administration is desirable.
