Childcare Skills Coach | Remote / Field-Based (National) | £30,000-£34,000 | Permanent

A well-established apprenticeship provider is looking for a Childcare Skills Coach to join their delivery team on a permanent basis. You’ll be working with learners across childcare apprenticeship standards — managing a caseload, conducting workplace visits, and supporting progression through to EPA. Blended delivery model with a mix of remote coaching and face-to-face visits.

The role:

• Deliver teaching and learning sessions across childcare apprenticeship standards, covering the required knowledge, skills and behaviours
• Conduct regular workplace visits and progress reviews, ensuring learners hit milestones and are EPA-ready
• Support learners with Functional Skills (English, Maths, ICT) up to Level 2 where required
• Coach learners to build their portfolio evidence throughout their programme
• Engage with employers and line managers to support learner progress and retention
• Manage a caseload of up to 40 learners, maintaining quality and compliance throughout

We’re looking for:

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or an equivalent relevant occupational qualification
• D32/D33, TAQA Level 3 Assessors Award, CAVA, or equivalent — or actively working towards it
• Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths
• Proven experience delivering and assessing apprenticeship programmes in a work‑based setting
• Familiarity with EPA processes and government‑funded training frameworks
