Job Overview

Our client is one of Scotland’s largest construction and manufacturing groups, and their in-house timber frame manufacturing division are one of the most advanced businesses of its kind in the UK. They are seeking a counterbalance forklift driver based at their premises in Cambuslang.

Working: Early shift 6.00 to 14.00 Monday to Friday with a 30-minute break each day = 37.5 hours per week.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Key Tasks

• Loading and unloading goods using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.

Employer Expectations Skills/Knowledge/Experience

• Valid Forklift License – Counterbalance B1 required
• Health & Safety Knowledge, along with H&S awareness
• Attention to detail when picking or packing materials
• Good and effective communication skills
• Excellent approach to teamwork
• Ensuring the work area is maintained to a high standard
• Ability to organise and plan workload
• Flexible approach to production required tasks
• Stock control / awareness
• Good work ethic
• Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance record

Qualifications/Tickets/Licences Required

• The successful candidate will have good experience of working on FLT’s with a minimum of a counterbalance B1 license and will receive training on our combi multidirectional trucks.
