Class 1 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Sheffield area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team.

Shifts: Operation runs across Monday to Friday.

Start Times: Start time is between 8-9am.

Pay Rate: £15.36 per hour PAYE.

Location: Sheffield, S25.

Job Type: Ad-hoc / Temp / Ongoing.

The role

• Bulk multi-drop – 15/20 drops/collections. Drivers will be required to unload and load the roll cages using tail lift and pump truck.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum experience required.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety‑first mindset.
