Supply Teaching Assistant

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.

The Role

As a Supply Teaching Assistant you could be:

  • Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis.
  • Working with small intervention groups.
  • Assisting teachers in the classroom.
  • Supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH, ASD, ADHD and additional learning needs.
  • Encouraging confidence, engagement and independence.
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience working with children or young people.
  • Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or SEN experience is desirable.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A positive, adaptable and proactive attitude.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Salary

Salary will be dependent upon proven experience, qualifications, and the expectations and requirements of the role.
