Manpower is delighted to be recruiting for a Trainee Panel Technician on behalf of a leading accident repair business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for vehicles who is looking to start a long‑term career within the automotive repair industry.

As a Trainee Panel Technician, you will receive hands‑on training from experienced professionals, developing the skills needed to repair and replace vehicle body panels to the highest industry standards.

The package:

  • Full‑time permanent position
  • Monday to Friday (fully onsite‑based role)
  • Location: Doncaster DN2
  • Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (40 hours a week)
  • Salary: £12.71 per hour
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

The Role

Working as part of a busy and supportive workshop team, you will learn a range of panel repair techniques, from minor cosmetic repairs through to more advanced structural repairs and vehicle alignment work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the repair and replacement of vehicle body panels.
  • Learning panel repair techniques to restore damaged vehicles.
  • Supporting technicians with structural repairs, panel fitting, and vehicle reassembly.
  • Using specialist tools and equipment under supervision.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.
  • Following all health and safety procedures.
  • Keeping the workshop clean, organised, and efficient.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the site.
  • Developing technical knowledge through ongoing training and mentoring.
