Security Officer – Ipswich

We are currently recruiting for a Security Officer to join the G4S team, working for a well‑known site in Ipswich.

Contract Information

Pay Rate: £15.03 per hour

Hours: Full‑time, 42 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Monday – Sunday, 06:00am – 18:00pm or 07:00am -19:00pm

Applicants must have an SIA Licence, a Driving Licence and own transport to get to the site.

Your Time at Work

• Greeting staff and visitors
• Controlling access in and out of the building
• Patrolling the premises and ensuring security protocols are being adhered to
• Dealing with disturbances/issues and security incidents
• Dealing with first aid and incident reporting

Qualifications

• Age 18 or over
• Preferably a valid Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office platforms
