Maths Teacher (QTS) – September Start

The Supply Register is working in partnership with two secondary schools to recruit a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher for a September start.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to join supportive school environments and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop confidence in numeracy, problem-solving, and analytical thinking while supporting their academic progress.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress to help raise attainment
  • Work collaboratively with department staff and the wider school community
  • Promote a passion for Mathematics and encourage students to achieve their full potential

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Passion for education and supporting student achievement
