Estimator / Senior Estimator – Industrial Cladding Cambridge area
Our client is an established industrial cladding and roofing contractor with 40+ years of combined experience, delivering new build, refurbishment and maintenance projects for commercial, industrial and retail clients, including a number of well-known brands. Project values range from £500 to £2m.
We’re looking for an experienced Estimator or Senior Estimator who can hit the ground running and add real strength to our team. This is not a trainee role – we want someone ready to go from day one.
What you’ll do
- Produce accurate quantity take-offs and competitive tenders
- Price and win cladding and roofing projects of all sizes
- Manage variations, valuations and monthly applications
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and the site team
- Bring your industry network and contacts to the table
What you’ll need
- 10+ years of experience in the cladding industry
- In-depth knowledge of composite panels and twin skin metal cladding systems (essential)
- A proven estimating track record – ready to deliver from day one
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
Please note: a background focused mainly on rainscreen/façade, glazing, render, SFS or steelwork isn’t what we’re after for this role – composite panel and twin skin metal cladding experience is the priority.
