HGV Class 2 OR Class 1 DRAY Driver

Pay Rate: £40,876 plus qualifying bonus £1200. Grade: Collective Agreement. Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time). Shift patterns: Monday to Friday starting between 4am-8am (annualised hours). Location: Tingley – WF3 1SP.

Overview

Join the team in a driving role that keeps you active, takes you to interesting places, and supports social interaction. This position involves delivering to pubs and venues, unloading and handling goods, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handling between 4 to 20 drops per day, keeping the day varied and active
• Manual handling of goods, including unloading kegs of beer at customer sites
• Delivering to cellars and navigating stairs
• Driving safely and efficiently, in line with Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Following health and safety standards with full compliance to the Highway Code and vehicle regulations
• Making multi-drop deliveries to pubs and clubs

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 Licence OR Class 1 Licence, Driver CPC Qualification, and Digital Tachograph Card
• 8+ months of recent driving experience (preferred)
• Willingness to take on a highly physical role and be on the move
