Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and suitably experienced person to oversee the development and running of the 6th Form Provision.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth running of classes on a day‑to‑day basis, including a teaching commitment.
- Line manage staff including teachers and teaching assistants.
- Liaise with a range of professionals working with our pupils across education and care.
- Lead and actively contribute to “Team Around the Child” weekly meetings (TAC) and other meetings, especially around transition.
- Work closely with parents and carers supporting with reviews and reports, ensuring high quality communication and standards.
- Provide half‑termly reporting to governors, monitor the 6th Form areas of the SEF and SDP, and manage the Careers programme at RSB.
- Act as the examinations officer for RSB, if required.
Qualifications & Skills
Desired attributes include excellent verbal and written communication skills, a passion for promoting pupil needs, and a commitment to 6th Form excellence. The successful candidate should be a team player with a can‑do attitude, patience, perseverance, a sense of humour, a positive outlook, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
