Are you confident, adaptable, and passionate about supporting young people? Join our team as a Cover Supervisor and play a vital role in keeping learning on track.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students completing pre‑set work and ensure lessons run smoothly in the teacher’s absence.
• Monitor progress, provide feedback to students and teaching staff, and report any issues or concerns to appropriate staff.
• Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
• Support student engagement, encouraging participation and independent learning.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4 or equivalent) or equivalent qualifications.
• Knowledge of how children learn and strategies to support learning.
• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff.
• Confidence using ICT to support teaching and learning.

Pay and Working Hours

Pay range: NJC 12 – 17 £25,152.62 – £27,284.58 + £3,518.09 (Inner London Weighting). Working Hours: 37 per week. Working Weeks: 39 per year. FTE: £28,598 – £31,022 + £4,000 (Inner London Weighting).
