At Vision for Education, we are currently seeking an experienced professional to work as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a primary school in Ramsey.
The Role SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: RamseyHours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am 3:30pmStart Date: September 2026
Working as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll be working with children aged 2 to 11 with a variety of complex needs, including autism, physical disabilities, and learning difficulties.
Responsibilities for the SEN Teaching Assistant role include:
- Providing one‑to‑one and small group support
- Aiding communication and classroom engagement
- Supporting mobility and physical needs
- Delivering personal care respectfully and sensitively
- Working closely with teaching staff and therapists to provide a nurturing environment
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in working with children, particularly with those with additional needs
- A compassionate and resilient nature
- Confidence in providing personal care when needed
- Ability to commit to the school’s full‑time working hours
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Able to provide references, and proof of right to work and address
