HGV Class 1 driver 4 on 4 off Birtley

We are currently looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to work 4 on 4 off rotating shifts in Birtley. We can provide guaranteed hours and a great team to work with. Start date: end of July / beginning of August 2026.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

• You will be delivering up to 10 drops to supermarkets across the North East heading to Lockerbie afterwards to collect your load for the following day, finishing off in Birtley.
• The role includes unloading cages of milk at supermarket delivery points and collecting empties.
• You will be delivering caged milk via loading bay or occasional tail lift.
• You’ll be working a guaranteed 38.5 hours per week, dayshift on a 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern.

What You Need To Succeed At XPO

• A maximum of no more than 6 points on your licence.
• Up to date CPC and Digital Tacho Card.
• No DD, DR points on your licence.
