13.75 hours per week – Afternoons, Term time only.
Permanent position.
Location: Reception.
Salary: £29,064 – £32,061 per annum pro rata (Actual salary £9,290.18 – £10,248.16).
Start Date: September 2026.
Overview
St Christophers Catholic Primary Academy is seeking an enthusiastic, child‑centred and Level 3 qualified teaching assistant with experience supporting children in school. The role offers an opportunity to work with a fantastic team and inspiring students.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for supporting pupils as individuals, in small groups and in the whole class setting.
- Have an understanding of the EYFS framework and Development Matters.
- Know how to safeguard young children and make a positive contribution to their well‑being.
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher to achieve the above.
- Paediatric first aid is an advantage.
Qualifications & Experience
Level 3 qualified teaching assistant.
Experience of supporting children in school.
