Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated NDT Technician to join our high-performance team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge motorsport environment, supporting the development, inspection, and integrity of race car components.

In this position you will play a key role in ensuring all parts meet the highest standards of safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform non‑destructive testing on new, in-service, and R&D components using, Ultrasonic Inspection, Eddy Current Inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Dye Penetrant Inspection and Visual Inspection.
  • Support the preparation and validation of race car components to the highest quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed NDT reports in line with company procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with internal specifications and aerospace‑level standards.
  • Communicate inspection results clearly to engineering, design, and stress teams.
  • Continuously develop technical skills and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of NDT techniques.
  • Work collaboratively across departments including Quality, Production, R&D, and Race Team.
  • Uphold health & safety standards at all times.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Minimum Level 2 NDT Qualification (EN4179/PCN) across key techniques.
  • Strong expertise in Ultrasonic A-Scan (Phased Array, would be beneficial), Eddy Current, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Dye Penetrant & Visual Inspection.
  • Strong attention to detail, with strict adherence to inspection specifications and reporting standards.
  • Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales and be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of X-Ray and CT Scan techniques is beneficial.
  • Excellent communicator with a proactive, positive attitude.
  • To be self‑motivated and to motivate others to thrive in a challenging environment.
  • Willingness to adapt, travel, and go above and beyond in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience in Formula One, high‑level motorsport, or aerospace highly desirable.
