Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our Research & Development team for a period of 3-6 months. This internship offers hands‑on experience, insight into our daily operations and the chance to contribute to laboratory‑based projects. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, organised and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
What will you be doing?
- Support the R&D team with the day‑to‑day running of the laboratory
- Monitor the supply of consumables and raw materials used in the R&D laboratory, coordinate and consolidate replenishments internally and raise purchase requisitions for external suppliers
- Assist the team in the development of new products and with sample requests, through formulation, testing, documentation and labelling
- Maintain and update relevant R&D databases
- Continually maintain and champion good housekeeping standards, including waste disposal
- Prioritise and complete assigned tasks and projects in accordance with established deadlines
- Participate in team meetings, taking notes and following up on assigned action items
Who are you?
Ideally you will have:
- Previous laboratory experience
- A level in Chemistry or equivalent qualification is preferred
- IT literate and competent with Microsoft Office or similar programs
- Practical approach to work with the ability to set priorities and solve problems
- Willingness to learn new tools and systems
- Available to work onsite and commit to the full duration of the internship program
- Comfortable working in a laboratory environment and wearing PPE
