• The following duties shall be deemed to beincluded in the professional duties which a teacher may be required to perform:
• First class Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 teachingin a manner appropriate to students’ ages and abilities.
• Promoting and teaching A Level throughwell-planned and well delivered teaching that is consistently good oroutstanding over time.
• Teaching that is adaptive and flexible to theneeds of individual students
• Monitoring the work and progress of pupils,including those with specific learning needs.
• Providing consistent feedback to students thatis both relevant and appropriate and provide students with individuallytailored goals to ensure their continual development
• Preparing students for their end of yearexaminations through rigorous and continual examination practice
• Assessing students’ work in line with thecriteria provided by the examination board (AQA/Pearson/NCFE CACHE)
• Assessing and recording students’ progress inaccordance with departmental and School policies.
• Attending and contributing to departmentalmeetings·
• Maintaining professional skills through INSETand our Continuing Professional Development programme.
• Being proactive in exploring innovative ways ofdelivering Psychology through the curriculum.
• Promoting and safeguarding the welfare ofchildren and young persons for whom you are responsible and with whom you comeinto contact.
• Any other tasks or responsibilities that mayreasonably be assigned by the Head of Sixth Form.
