Position: Full‑Time Science Technician

Location: Redbridge, London

School Rating: GOOD (Ofsted)

Start Date: September 2026 – interviewing ASAP

I am recruiting for a temporary (maternity cover) and also a permanent science technician role, so I am looking for 2 technicians.

What You’ll Do

• Lab Wizardry: Prepare and set up equipment for exciting experiments across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Student Support: Assist teachers and students during practical lessons, ensuring everyone has what they need to dive into hands‑on learning.
• Safety First: Keep our labs safe and organised, ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed to create a secure environment for our budding scientists.
• Inventory Management: Maintain stock levels of lab equipment and materials.

What They Are Looking For

• Science Degree: Solid foundation in biology, chemistry or physics.
• Desirable Experience: Previous experience as a Science Technician is a bonus, but recent graduates with a passion for practical science are welcome.
• Enthusiastic Team Player: Thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with students and staff alike.
• Organisational Skills: Keen eye for detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
