About the Role

As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing our residents’ wellbeing by planning and delivering engaging activities tailored to their individual preferences and abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver a varied programme of group and individual activities.
  • Create and maintain weekly activity schedules.
  • Support residents to participate in activities that reflect their interests, hobbies, and personal choices.
  • Assess residents’ social and recreational needs, taking into account their abilities, preferences, and wellbeing goals.
  • Ensure residents’ social care plans are completed and regularly reviewed.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Assist with other duties as required to support the smooth delivery of care services.

About You

  • Creative, enthusiastic, and passionate about making a difference.
  • Experienced in organising activities, ideally within a care, health, or community setting.
  • Compassionate, patient, and respectful of individual needs.
  • A confident communicator who enjoys engaging with people.
  • Organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a supportive team.
  • Dedicated to promoting positive experiences and maintaining residents’ interests and independence.
