Job Overview
At Vivash‑Elite Care, you will be part of a team that helps individuals on a day‑to‑day basis, encouraging them to live as independently as possible. You will help people reach their full potential through both practical and emotional support while making a positive difference to their lives.
Duties
- Assisting with personal care
- General light domestic duties
- Assisting with cooking of light meals, preparing snacks and providing beverages
- Carrying out tasks as specified in the service user’s individual service/care plan
- Transporting service users to local amenities and medical appointments
- Contributing to accurate and detailed record‑keeping while maintaining the service
- Communicating effectively with families, healthcare professionals and external agencies
- Ensuring adherence to CQC regulations and company policies
- Ensuring residents receive the highest possible quality of care and support, monitoring general health and reporting any concerns
- Completing and maintaining accurate care records
- Administering prescribed medicines in accordance with the care plan
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in home care or a similar setting preferred
- Care certification
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or commitment to complete training)
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Computer literate for documentation and reporting
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring nature
- Familiarity with care plans and home care practices is beneficial
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Satisfactory DBS check
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
