Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Landscaper / Groundworker to join our established team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in paving and hard landscaping, be capable of working independently, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, including premium paving installations, drainage works, retaining walls, fencing and complete garden renovations.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of sandstone, porcelain and natural stone paving
- Setting out paving areas using laser levels
- Drainage and groundworks installations
- Construction of retaining walls, steps and raised beds
- Fencing and garden structures
- Turfing and soft landscaping works
- Reading and interpreting drawings and site plans
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and site presentation
- Working effectively as part of a small professional team
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in landscaping and/or groundworks
- Ability to set out and work accurately to lines and levels
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong understanding of construction methods and best practices
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- Reliable, professional and punctual
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience operating excavators and dumpers
