FLT Driver

As a Forklift Driver, you will play an essential role within the branch support function helping us to be the largest distributor of pharmaceutical and healthcare products to our customers. Permanent Contract – immediate start available. Full time role, 30 hours per week, 6 days per week. 02:30 to 07:30 Monday to Saturday (shift start and finish times may vary).

Key Responsibilities

  • Our Forklift Drivers play an integral part in making sure that we exceed company key performance indicators (KPI) measures and continue to deliver an efficient, safe, and vital healthcare service to our customers.
  • Accountable for operating the reach/counterbalance forklift
  • Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory
  • Inspecting maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • The overall goal for all AAH employees is to assist in delivering an efficient, safe and vital healthcare service to our customers.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Either an FLT Reach/Counterbalance license with a willingness to train for the opposite license if needed
  • Clear communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Effective team player
  • Previous Warehouse experience and a sound understanding of warehouse operations
  • Must be able to understand and adhere to all safety requirements
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Truly committed to customer and patient services
