Location: Wigan, WN6

Salary: £93 – £100 per day

Job Type: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Start Date: September 2026

Here at Value Education, we are looking for a passionate and impactful Level 2 Teaching Assistant to become part of the team.

Your Responsibilities

• Helping individual and/or groups of students to achieve their full potential in each classroom
• Help to prepare the classroom for whatever may be in store for the class on that lesson
• To record and report back the progress of students to teachers, parents or carers.
• To lead activities within the classroom and assist the teachers with the delivery of lessons.

Qualifications and requirements

• Experience within classrooms at a primary school
• Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
• DBS on the updated service (we will work with you to obtain one if you don’t have one)
• Strong communication with patience and a positive approach towards students
