HGV Class 2 Driver

Location: L34

Pay: £16ph + Night out @ £50 per night & £200pw expenses

Shifts: 6am – 7am starts (tramping 2-3 nights per week)

Responsibilities

• Tramping involved 1 in 3 weeks nights out option for more
• Transport goods over local or long-distance routes
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations

Qualifications

• 6+ Months Class 2 HGV CAT C entitlement
• Valid CPC and Tachograph Card
• Extensive knowledge of applicable HGV driving rules and regulations
• No more than 6 points for MINOR offences – None of the following can be accepted: DD,DG,IN,CD,TT.
• Good customer service skills as you will be customer facing at the point of delivery
• Nice-to-have skills: Experience as a Class 2 HGV driver, familiarity with flatbed trucks and curtain side trucks.
