About the Role
As an Online Sales Associate, you’ll support our Online Sales Team by guiding customers through their buying journey. You’ll handle web chat and E‑mail sales leads, collection calls, answer sales queries, and highlight products or services to enhance the customer experience.
This fast‑paced role offers the chance to build cross‑functional knowledge while delivering excellent customer service. You’ll benefit from structured onboarding, ongoing training, and team support as you grow in the role. You’ll also develop your sales skills with a clear progression path into more senior sales positions.
Responsibilities
- Developing incoming sales leads via our omni‑channels and connecting customers to Sales Executives
- Providing support to customers in the journey of buying or selling a car to Motorpoint.
- Supporting Sales Executives by ensuring customer orders are processed correctly and ready for collection.
- Liaising with third parties and updating customers on application progress.
- Logging all customer contact compliantly and accurately.
- Resolve issues efficiently with professionalism and empathy.
- Build strong customer relationships through excellent service.
- Support the online sales team to help achieve monthly departmental KPIs.
- Engage in our ongoing sales training programme as you progress to a sales executive role.
Qualifications
- Experience in a sales, call centre or retail role is highly desirable.
- Strong dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Process‑driven with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced setting.
- Empathetic and solution‑focused approach to customer issues.
- Team players who are also self‑motivated.

Salary: £35k OTE.Location: Shelton House – Derby, UK.Contract Type: Permanent.Hours: 37.5 hours per week across 7 days. Working hours consist of shift work between 09:00–17:00 and 12:00–20:00, with one fixed day off during the week (Monday to Friday) and one day off at the weekend.
