Job Overview
45 hours per week five days over seven including weekend. Mitie is looking for a Retail security officer who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.
Qualifications
It is preferable that you hold a current SIA licence or SIA certificate (but in some circumstances training for a licence can be provided).
Vetting requirements: A full 5‑year checkable employment/education history is required; failure to provide will result in offer withdrawal or termination.
Responsibilities
- Deliver industry‑leading customer service
- Deter violence and public order offences
- Conduct patrols of the store
- Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss
- Liaise with the store management teams
- Liaise with the Police and crime partnerships to foster a great working relationship and support the reduction of crime in store
- Wear Body‑Worn CCTV to support the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety
