Relief Retail Security Officer

Job Overview

Mitie is looking for a Retail Security Officer in Norwich to deliver exceptional customer service while creating a safe shopping environment free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

Preferably hold a current SIA licence or SIA certificates. Training can be provided if circumstances allow.

Must have a full 5‑year checkable employment/education history; failure to provide may result in withdrawal of offer or termination.

Main Duties

• Deliver industry‑leading customer service
• Deter violence and public order offences
• Conduct patrols of the store
• Utilise CCTV systems to support reduction of crime and stock loss
• Liaise with store management teams
• Liaise with Police and crime partnerships to foster a strong working relationship and support crime reduction in store
• Wear body‑worn CCTV to enhance safety for colleagues and customers
