Internal Sales

We are currently looking to recruit an Internal Sales to join our reputable client based who is based in Irlam.

Role Details:

• Position Title: Internal Sales
• Location: Irlam
• Hours: Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm – fully office based
• Salary: £35k – 38K DOE

Purpose of the role:

• Manage and maintain existing key customer accounts.
• Negotiate pricing and prepare quotations to achieve the best commercial outcomes.
• Manage customer projects from initial enquiry through to successful delivery.
• Coordinate the purchasing of materials required for customer orders and projects.
• Build and strengthen long-term customer relationships through excellent account management.
• Communicate effectively with customers, addressing queries, concerns and resolving issues promptly.
• Escalate customer requirements and feedback to senior management where appropriate.
• Conduct regular follow-up activity to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure customer expectations and deadlines are achieved.
• Contribute market and customer insights to support business development and sales strategies.

Required skills:

• Previous experience within an Account Management, Customer Service or Sales role.
• Ability to multitask and manage several customer projects simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work proactively and take ownership of tasks.
• Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Team player with a willingness to support colleagues when required.
