Sales Assistant – The Timber Group, Poole

The Timber Group is looking for a Sales Assistant to join our Poole branch. The role involves delivering excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and building relationships with suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Serve customers’ needs in a safe and professional manner.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety on sites and in branches.
  • Act as a face of The Timber Group and create great customer service.
  • Work closely with team members.
  • Manage your own internal customer ledger; prior ledger experience is an advantage.
  • Build relationships with key suppliers.
  • Handle customer orders and enquiries daily.

Qualifications

  • Previous sales experience in a similar role or environment.
  • Self‑motivated, enthusiastic, flexible, reliable, and ambitious.
  • Experience managing an internal ledger is an advantage.
