Sales Assistant – The Timber Group, Poole
The Timber Group is looking for a Sales Assistant to join our Poole branch. The role involves delivering excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and building relationships with suppliers and customers.
Responsibilities
- Serve customers’ needs in a safe and professional manner.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety on sites and in branches.
- Act as a face of The Timber Group and create great customer service.
- Work closely with team members.
- Manage your own internal customer ledger; prior ledger experience is an advantage.
- Build relationships with key suppliers.
- Handle customer orders and enquiries daily.
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience in a similar role or environment.
- Self‑motivated, enthusiastic, flexible, reliable, and ambitious.
- Experience managing an internal ledger is an advantage.
