The Role
The Sales Development Representative role is a key position focused on generating qualified sales appointments and supporting pipeline growth across our Data and AI portfolio. This includes identifying opportunities for both Professional Services and Managed Services, helping customers address specific business challenges and deliver measurable outcomes through the effective use of data.
At Simpson Associates, our approach is consultative and outcome‑led. Rather than promoting standalone products, the Sales Development Representative will engage prospects around their data challenges, business priorities, and transformation goals – developing meaningful conversations that translate into high‑quality opportunities for the sales team.
This role is suited to someone with early sales experience who is looking to build a career in a more consultative, solution‑focused environment. We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate experience in generating opportunities and progressing conversations, ideally within a technology or data‑related context. This could include someone who has experience selling defined products or services and is now ready to take the next step into a more complex, outcome‑led sales approach. Equally, it may suit someone who already has experience in a similar role within Professional Services and/or Managed Services.
Working closely with marketing and sales, the Sales Development Representative will use LinkedIn, HubSpot, campaigns and events to identify and engage prospects, develop conversations, and convert interest into well‑qualified opportunities.
