Veterinary Care Assistant

About The Role

Out Grove Park Vets in London are looking for a proactive Veterinary Care Assistant to join as a Float Veterinary Care assistant. The position is full‑time (40 hours a week, 5 days, light weekend duty, no out‑of‑hours). The role will be based between Grove Vets, St Margarets Vets, Richmond and Kitten to cat, giving exposure across multiple sites. You will support our vets, RVN and support teams and will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, assisting with animal handling, working on reception and providing support as needed. You must be comfortable and competent in monitoring low‑level anaesthetics.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience or willingness to learn veterinary care practices.
• Comfortable with low‑level anaesthetic monitoring.
• Ability to maintain hygienic standards.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with vets, nurses, RVN, and support staff.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
