Salary: £12.71 – £12.75 gross per hour (equivalent to £26,640.16 – £25,724.00 per year on a 40‑hour week)

Essential
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service

- Commitment to working within Early Years Childcare
Desirable
- Previous nursery experience
- Paediatric First Aid qualification
- Food Hygiene qualification
What You’ll Be Doing
Responsibilities
- Use a friendly approach with parents and carers, children, and colleagues
- Provide a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for children to learn, play, explore and develop
- Maintain a clean, organised, homely environment for all children
- Implement interesting and inspiring activities for children to learn through play
- Build relationships with key children, recording their interests and achievements through observations
- Understand and follow company policies and procedures
- Participate in safeguarding activities and report complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy
Other responsibilities
- Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, training, parent information sessions, and functions as appropriate, including marketing events that may run evenings or weekends
- Treat all personal and sensitive information relating to staff, children, families, visitors, and the nursery with utmost integrity and confidentiality
- Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families
Background Checks
The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check as part of the safeguarding and welfare requirement for the children in care.
