Early Years Assistant 1:1 SEN Support – Bright Horizons Family Solutions, Abingdon, ENG, GB.
Location & Hours
- Location: Abingdon OX14 1AA
- Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon‑Fri); 30 hours per week also considered
- Salary: Starting from £27,580.80 per annum pro rata, dependant on qualification and experience
About the Role
Work on a 1:1 basis with three children with SEN at our Ofsted rated “Good” Nursery. You will support children up to age 5 in activities, play, reading, and developmental support.
Responsibilities
- Look after babies and children up to the age of 5
- Engage children through interactive play, activities, and reading
- Support colleagues with each child’s development towards key milestones
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience working with children preferred but not essential (e.g., Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder)
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
- Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with children and adults
