The Worcester Whitehouse Hotel is a 4 star, 84 bedroom hotel right in the heart of the historic city centre of Worcester. Built in the 16th century, this classic townhouse hotel is adjacent to Foregate Street train station and a short walk to many local attractions including the Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum. The hotel is perfectly located for both leisure and business guests, offering great conference and event facilities for up to 120 delegates, wedding facilities and a leisure club.
We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests. You will provide excellent customer service, handle bookings, and assist with smooth check-in and check-out procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately
- Handle guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications
- Respond promptly to guest enquiries, requests, and complaints
- Maintain up-to-date guest records and ensure data accuracy
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for room readiness
- Process payments and handle cash or credit transactions securely
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area
- Adhere to hotel policies, health & safety, and data protection standards
Experience in an hotel, ideally in a similar role is required.
This is a live-out position.

Hours
22.5 hours per week, working 3 shifts over 7 days to include evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays; scheduled for 8 hours per day to include a 30 minute break
