Delivery Driver – Barnsley (Job Ref: 11803)

We are looking to recruit a 15‑hour Prescription Delivery Driver on a permanent contract to work at our 721‑branch located at 16‑18 Market Street, Hoyland, Barnsley, S74 9QR.

Required working hours:

• Monday 10:00‑13:00
• Tuesday 10:00‑13:00
• Thursday 10:00‑13:00
• Friday 10:00‑13:00

Key Responsibilities

• Promptly and conscientiously deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing homes, and residential homes.
• Provide a high standard of customer service, portray a friendly professional image, and act as an ambassador for the Cohens brand.
• Work under pressure to deliver prescriptions within the designated time frame.
• Plan, print, and follow daily routes using basic computer skills before departure.
• Assist with PR exercises to increase business as required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills to print and plan daily routes.
• Own vehicle suitable for business use with a personal insurance policy that allows business use; company will contribute to the business insurance upon receipt of proof of increased premium.
• Good people skills and ability to work within a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver within given time periods.
• Valid driving licence and safe driving record.
