Van Driver / Warehouse Operative
Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of a pipework supply company in Basingstoke.
Basingstoke
£14.39 an hour; £21.59 after 40 hours or on weekends
Immediate start – Temporary to Permanent contract (12‑week trial, potential permanent offer).
More about the role
- Shift times: 08:00 – 17:00
- 5 shifts a week (Monday to Friday)
- Deliver to locations in London and South of England (multi‑drops)
- Occasional support for warehouse team as needed
Duties of a Van Driver
- Cut pipes to size (full training provided)
- Pick and pack orders for dispatch
- Build good relationships with customers upon delivery
- Ensure vehicle safety and route compliance
Requirements for this Van Driver Role
- Full UK relevant driving licence (no more than 6 points)
- Previous experience driving in London required
- Heavy lifting required
