Location: London
Job Description:

  • Competitive salary + bonus + company benefits
  • West London | Office-based 3-4 days per week

Our client is a global digital D2C business at a pivotal stage of commercial transformation. With a premium online learning proposition, established international reach, and significant headroom to scale, the business is moving from a telesales-led model towards a more sophisticated, digitally driven eCommerce engine.

This is a rare opportunity to build the playbook rather than inherit one, working closely with senior leadership to shape how customers discover, evaluate, and buy online.

The Director of eCommerce will design, optimise, and scale a direct-to-consumer growth model, owning the end-to-end funnel while aligning digital channels, assisted sales, and commercial performance.

Role Highlights

  • Shape the eCommerce roadmap from assessment to execution
  • Improve conversion, customer value, retention, and payback
  • Build clearer trading plans across priority international markets
  • Turn funnel insight into practical product and technology requests
  • Provide structured recommendations to senior transformation leaders

You Will Need

  • Proven ownership of eCommerce or digital trading performance
  • Experience improving acquisition, conversion, revenue, and retention
  • Confidence operating in transformation or build-stage environments
  • Strong judgement across data, testing, pricing, and commercial trade-offs
  • Background in high-consideration or subscription-based customer journeys

Why You’ll Love It

  • Genuine ownership of a business-critical transformation agenda
  • High visibility with senior leadership and decision-makers
  • Scope to build a scalable growth engine from early foundations
  • Opportunity to connect digital sales with assisted commercial channels
  • Clear headroom as eCommerce becomes central to future growth
