Responsibilities

• You will advise charities, trustees and other not‑for‑profit organisations on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters, providing commercially focused and pragmatic solutions.
• Your caseload will include establishing and registering charitable entities, advising on trustee duties, governance and regulatory compliance, charity mergers, transfers of assets, charity closures and de‑registrations, as well as liaising with the Charity Commission.
• The appointed Solicitor will draft and review a variety of governance documents, policies and constitutional documentation, ensuring clients remain compliant with the relevant legal and regulatory framework.

Qualifications & Experience

• Applications are welcomed from Solicitors with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE and demonstrable experience advising charities on governance, administration and regulatory matters.
• The successful candidate will be encouraged to play an active role in business development, networking and helping to further strengthen the firm’s well‑established presence within the charity sector.
