CCTV / Security Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join our growing team across West Yorkshire / North West. This is a field‑based role working across a variety of commercial sites.

Pay: £37,000‑£44,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)

Location: Travel required around areas of Yorkshire & North‑West (vehicle provided)

Key Responsibilities

• Service and maintain CCTV systems
• Experience working with intruder alarms, access control systems and ideally fire alarms also
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
• Complete all service documentation and reports accurately
• Ensure systems meet relevant British Standards
• Provide excellent customer service on‑site
• Support with occasional small installation works when required
• Participate in a shared telephone support call‑out rota

Systems Experience Required

• CCTV (IP & analogue – Hikvision, Dahua)

We would also prefer experience in the following

• Access Control (Paxton, Comelit PAC)
• Fire Alarms (BS5839 compliant)
• Intruder Alarms (Texecom, Honeywell Galaxy)

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of security systems
• Good understanding of industry standards
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Professional and reliable with good communication skills
• Full UK driving licenceAbility to pass security vetting
