Security Platform Engineer

Salary: £70,000 – 80,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for someone with experience as a Security Engineer, Platform Engineer, or in a similar role.
• We need experience deploying and managing EDR agents.
• We need hands‑on experience with Kubernetes.
• We need experience managing and administering Splunk.
• We need experience deploying Nessus for vulnerability scanning and analysis.
• We need familiarity with container security principles and tools.
• We need familiarity with scripting and automation.
• We need familiarity with configuring SIEM tooling.
• Due to the nature of this role, candidates must be sole British nationals and currently hold SC clearance, and be willing to go through DV clearance.

Responsibilities

• We will deploy and manage security tooling within a Kubernetes environment.
• We will administer and maintain Splunk for log aggregation, monitoring, alerting, and threat detection.
• We will operate and manage Nessus for vulnerability scanning, reporting, and remediation tracking.
• We will integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
• We will automate security processes using scripting or infrastructure-as-code.
