Shipping Litigation Solicitor, 3+ PQE, London, £85,000–£100,000 (DOE).

Role Overview

This role offers exposure to a broad spectrum of shipping and international trade matters, including marine casualties, General Average disputes, ship sale and purchase transactions, port operations and emergency response situations. Acting for a diverse international client base, you will provide commercially focused advice across a wide range of contentious maritime issues. The caseload is varied and high quality, encompassing vessel arrests, Admiralty proceedings, unpaid shipping and bunker claims, bill of lading and charterparty disputes, as well as English High Court litigation and international arbitration.

Candidate

Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE and experience in shipping litigation or maritime disputes. You will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication and client relationship skills, enjoy working collaboratively and independently, and have an interest in business development and building a profile within the shipping sector.
