Senior Structural Engineer

Senior Structural Engineer will join an established Leeds City Centre consultancy, delivering structural design solutions for residential and commercial developments. This permanent role offers a salary between £48,000 and £61,000. The position requires leading technical work on building projects, managing design packages, and collaborating with architects, developers, and contractors from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural design for residential and commercial building projects
• Prepare and review calculations, technical reports, and drawings
• Manage project delivery from concept design through to construction
• Liaise with clients, architects, and other consultants
• Attend design meetings and undertake site visits when required
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians

About You

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Significant experience in structural design of buildings in the UK
• Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and UK design standards
• Experience with structural design software (e.g. Tekla Tedds, SCIA, or similar)
• Chartered status with ICE or IStructE, or actively working towards it
• Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
