Job Duties

  • Lead structural and stress analysis activities across spacecraft and ground support systems.
  • Develop structural design methodologies and qualification verification strategies.
  • Perform and review structural analysis outputs, testing data, and qualification evidence.
  • Review and approve engineering calculations, technical drawings, and test documentation.
  • Collaborate with mechanical design, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates must demonstrate extensive experience in structural or stress analysis within space programmes.
  • Applicants should possess approximately eight years of experience across spacecraft development lifecycles.
  • Strong expertise using Nastran and HyperWorks for finite element analysis is required.
  • Experience analysing sandwich panels, inserts, and aerospace structural assemblies is essential.
  • Candidates must demonstrate understanding of modal, frequency response, and vibration analysis.
  • Knowledge of ECSS and NASA structural standards is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working within product lifecycle management environments is advantageous.
